I might be alone on this one, but I think debt collection agencies are really quite fascinating. Essentially, for those of you who aren’t familiar with them - what they do is buy debt from companies who have debts owed to them for pennies on the dollar, and pay more or less based on how likely they think the company is to pay them back.
