Clearly this computer is not going to set any speed records. Its designed to be the cheapest computer possible to build with all new parts, and for that, it does quite well. It doesn’t have any frills, but it will run windows XP fairly well, and an operating system like Xubuntu smoothly. It wouldn’t be a bad fit for an elderly relative or someone who only uses their computer to check email. For a bit more money, you could add quite a few more features. This is not the optimum price point for the highest ROI.
