So I visited Vanderbilt University today(where I’ll be attending college.) It was quite an awesome school - the campus is beautiful, and the people are generally quite kind. However, I’m clearly going to need to adjust to a different kind of culture when I get there. 5/6 of the other kids on the tour had American Eagle Polos, and preppy clothing seemed to be the norm. Lots of men’s jewelry as well, which was something I’d never really seen before. All in all, it was most definitely an experience/culture shock.
