Incorporating

This isn’t the only website we run - its the first, and obviously the coolest, but not the only one. We also operate http://byopc.com, and a few other, still in construction websites. Currently, we’re operating as a partnership - DBA, or doing business as, is the term usually used. However, as our portfolio grows, and we step up production on our custom-built computers (including a new, $299 casual computer), we’ve felt that we need a more formal arrangement. We’d like to incorporate. Our current prospective name for the umbrella corporation is NP & Associates.
And what’s the first thing you need when you decide you want a business? Clearly, its a logo and business cards. Well, perhaps not the first thing, but logo design is one of the most fun. I’ve been playing around with getting a logo and business card made, and been utilizing LogoEyes. They give you a step-by-step walkthrough to creating a logo and business card - starting with choosing the style of your business (startup, established, modern), then choosing from one of what appears to be hundreds of logos, selecting the font you’re going to use, and eventually placing it on a business card.
Here’s mine:
While not perfect, it looks quite good. And it was incrediby easy to make - the whole process probably took under half an hour, and most of that was choosing the logo. The logo is created separately from the business card - and the style I chose is just one of the 15 or so that you can choose from. All in all, I would highly recommend playing around with their editor - its quite a bit of fun, and has me quite excited.
