(BUILD-A-DAY DISCLAIMER: None of the Build-A-Day computers come with an operating system, as many people have copies of Windows around their home, or prefer to use a Free operating system such as Ubuntu or Debian. This is intentional. In addition, no computer builds will contain monitors, keyboard, or other peripherals unless otherwise specified.)
This is a pretty incredible computer - after this point it gets kinda unreasonable. 2 8800GTs will play any game you throw at it on high, 4 gigs of ram will max out any non 64-bit OS, and allow you to open up basically whatever you want. The two 500gig hard drives run in a raid configuration in order to speed up read/write times, making things load faster - while the the high end 700W power supply is barely stressed.
