(BUILD-A-DAY DISCLAIMER: None of the Build-A-Day computers come with an operating system, as many people have copies of Windows around their home, or prefer to use a Free operating system such as Ubuntu or Debian. This is intentional. In addition, no computer builds will contain monitors, keyboard, or other peripherals unless otherwise specified.)
The $450 build has the following advantages over the $350 build: The processor changes from a 2.1ghz processor to a 2.6ghz processor. The Hard Drive doubles in size to 320GB. The memory on the video card goes from 256MB to 512MB, though it remains an 8600GT.
